Introduction

Hilversum, in the Northen province of Holland is a picturesque city that has a healthy footfall of tourists from around the world. With so many wonderful sights, it was important that the tourists would know exactly what they were looking at.

The project

Xenium was assigned the task to develop an augmented reality based app that would display information regarding the structure when the camera is pointed towards it. The app helped tourists access information without looking for it elsewhere.

Conclusion

The app helped smartphone users and travellers tremendously. It helped make Hilversum more accessible and tourist friendly.
